Land Cruiser gears up for some no-nonsense supermarket trips
Arizona-based tuner Westcott Designs has just delivered a heavily customized Toyota Land Cruiser to a client who went all-in on off-road options. Don’t get your hopes up, though: he let it slip that it was all purely for show.
Given the scope of the modifications, it is a shame that this SUV won’t be seeing much dirt. It looks fairly capable with 50 mm (2 inches) of added ground clearance, a roof rack with side supports, new running boards and sturdy Method Wheels with a bright yellow finish. There is a Rigid Industries light bar above the windshield with 10 lights, and two more can be found attached to the side mirrors. The entire body and chassis are protected against dents and scratches – perhaps to compensate for the owner’s mall parking lot maneuvering skills.
Nothing has been revealed about the interior and the powertrain, but we suppose that stock is good enough for the occasional grocery trip.
