2025 Audi A3 gains an all-street version
Audi has facelifted the A3 sedan and hatchback lineup, revising the appearance, adding more options to the list and introducing a new special trim called “allstreet” to sit somewhere between the main A3 lineup and the sported-up Q3. Preordering will become available later this month starting from €35,650.
On the exterior side of things, the facelifted A3 sports an updated radiator grille and a bumper with accentuated, edgier air intakes. The rear bumper and diffuser have been revised as well, and buyers can now choose from a wider color palette for the body. Like some of Audi’s more expensive models, the A3 now supports custom DRL signatures.
The A3 allstreet boasts its own grille pattern, and the grille itself sits higher up the front end and closer to the hood. Audi designers argue that it helps the car highlight its 30 mm (1.2 inches) of added ground clearance. Unlike the other A3 modifications using 16-inch wheels, the allstreet rides on larger 17-inch rims and sports skid plates all around. It also has roof rails, but lacks support for quattro AWD.
Inside the new A3, the center console and the transmission selector are new and there is a Sonos audio system. The ambient lighting quality, the electronic assist features and the trimming materials have all been improved.
At the launch, both the sedan and the liftback will be available with only two 1.5-liter engines to choose from – a petrol one and a diesel one. Both are rated at 150 PS (148 hp / 110 kW) and utilize a seven-speed DCT to deliver the torque to the wheels. The diesel goes without any electric aid, while the gasoline four-pot receives assistance from a mild-hybrid add-on.
In the future, Audi promises to add new powertrain options to the mix, including a plug-in hybrid sometime in late 2024.
