Check out a gorgeous purple ABT XGT racer made street-legal
Audi’s extreme R8 LMS GT2 racecar isn’t road-legal by design, but for €600,000, ABT Sportsline will make it that way for you. Only 99 units are scheduled for production, and this striking purple example is number 44.
The finish is called Viola Parsifae and is actually a wrap, rather than paint. It seems to be a perfect fit for the Audi and definitely makes it a sight to see on the roads.
Every ABT XGT coupe weighs around 1,400 kilos (3,086 pounds) and sends 640 PS (631 hp / 471 kW) to the wheels. The tuner redesigns the steering wheel, adds a more convenient fueling port, installs a back-up camera and even implements a central locking system for convenience. To top things off, the model comes with a KBA crash test certificate issued in Germany to let owners know it’s safe.
Check out the video here for the first preview of the car released on March 1 this year.
