CATL waxes skeptical about solid-state batteries

CATL, the world’s largest vendor of power cells for electric cars, says it no longer believes in the viability of the solid-state battery technology.
At the same time, SAIC Group in China remains positive about this long-anticipated and much-hyped technology, claiming that it may be able to start the production as soon as 2025.
Furthermore, the Chinese corporation plans to assemble its first IM L6 sedans (shown here) with solid-state battery packs before the end of the current year. We will have to wait and see how these plans go.
