11-09-2024 11:00
Though most countries in Europe have seen a decline in electric vehicle sales, Norway has managed to smash through another record.
Whopping 94% of all vehicles sold in the country in August – 10,480 in absolute terms – were fully electric. Tesla Model Y, Volvo EX30 and Skoda Enyaq led the rating with 2107, 932 and 720 units sold in August, respectively.
On the whole, dealerships in Norway have found buyers for 78,832 brand new cars in January–August 2024. Out of this number, 68,435 were EVs (87% from total).
